My name is angel the hedgehog im here to tell the story of how me and my best friend Serena Usagi met

It happened not that long ago I was out for a walk when I suddenly heard what sounded like thunder. But I knew it couldn’t be a storm coming in because there wasn’t a cloud in the sky, so I looked around and to my horror I saw an air battle high up in the sky, I watched in horror as they played cat and mouse with each other to what seemed like proving their worth for control over the skies, but little did I know there was much more going on then that, suddenly there was a deafening roar over head the blast of air was so great it blew me over to my knees, that was when I saw a plane plummet from the skies engulfed in flames and thick black smoke, it made a crash landing in the clearing just about a half a mile in front of me. I rushed to its aid preparing my self for what I might see for I feared the worse, I finally came to the clearing to find a big white and blue colored aircraft, still smoldering and on fire in some places.
I climbed up on it and peered inside, I jumped back and screamed in horror as I thought for sure the pilot was dead, but I looked again and saw she was breathing, on what appeared to be a control panel there was a message saying
EOL I had no clue what it meant, I began to desperately try and free the young girl in the plane but couldn’t get the canopy opened, just then I saw her open her eyes a little, I continued to try and free her as I noticed this I knew I probably didn’t have much time before the plane either exploded or the plane that caused this girls crash came back to finish the job, that’s when I looked up and saw that the plane that had shot her down was circling around to come after us, that’s when I heard the young girl over a pa system say “ get out here kid before you get yourself killed its too late for me” she said

NO I screamed as I started to bash the rock against the glass, she hailed me again “ you’re going to get yourself killed kid go on get out of here and run”
NO IM NOT GOING TO WATCH YOU DIE I screamed back, the plane that had shot her down was in a dive towards us I knew I only had a few more short precious seconds to rescue this girl from a horrible death, I quickly scurried up a tree only a few feet away from the young girls crashed plane and hurled the rock with all my might at the front of the canopy and to amazement it worked the glass shattered into a million tiny little pieces, I then jumped down out of the tree pulled out my hunting knife I usually carried for not only protection but for chopping through weeds and tall grass and ran over to the plane and with a couple of quick slashes to the harness holding the girl into her seat I cut her free and grabbed her and jumped to the ground, and started running as fast as I could carry the both of us just as we were out of sight the plane that was diving towards us released a couple of missiles and destroyed the plane I had just pulled the young girl out of, I looked back in shear horror as I watched what was left of a once beautiful plane become nothing more than charred and burning wreckage, pieces of the once beautiful plane were scattered everywhere on the ground, I then turned my attention to the young girl who was laying unconscious on the ground bleeding in several areas, I could tell she was badly hurt, fortunately when I was young I was taught all sorts of healing methods with herbs and plants, and even some surgical procedures, I picked up the young girl and carried her to my house where I knew she would be safe, I had a pretty good feeling the people responsible for her near death would be looking around the area to ensure she was in the plane when it was destroyed, I decided at that point no one not even my closest and most trusted friends would know that this girl was staying with me to recover.

The next day the young girl finally opened her eyes and was awake enough to talk, how are you doing? I asked her

Im okay I suppose she choked out I could tell she was still in a lot of pain form the previous day
Are you hungry at all? I asked her as I presented her with a good hearty breakfast, she looked at me and smiled and said yeah I think I could eat some thing she replied.

I watched as she ate the big breakfast I made for her, I was amazed when she asked for seconds I had never seen a young girl with such a big appetite, I was happy to see her eating well that meant her injuries were in no way life threatening.

So tell me what made you so determined to save me? She asked after she had finished her breakfast, I mean you could have been killed trying to get me out of that plane, but yet you still risked your life to save mine, don’t get me wrong I appreciate it deeply and I thank you for saving my life, just a little curious is all, she asked to which I replied I don’t know exactly, when I saw you in there helpless and unconscious, something just came over me, I saw a girl who had her whole life ahead of her yet and I wasn’t about to let her have that precious of a thing taken away from her

She just smiled back and said “you’re a very good hearted person I thank you for you’re kindness in my hour of need”

You’re welcome, now I think you should just rest you been through a lot I want you to just take it easy for now. I told her as I covered up and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek to say good night.

I decided to go outside and do some of the yard work that needed to attend to, I made sure I was absolutely silent and didn’t make any noise any more than I had to so as not to disturb my young guest. I lived in a forest so not much need for anything like a lawnmower too often which was good, I grew all of my own vegetables, herbs spices and even raised some live stock such as chickens, I used them for eggs and got all my meat in town, I never could bring myself to slaughter an animal I think of how I would feel if that were me going to the slaughter like that so that’s why I always bought my bacon and other meats and poultry’s from the market in town.

Over the next few weeks my young guest was finally able to get up and move around, she was very helpful around the house I was very pleased to have her around, she was so smart and mechanically inclined, she even got my riding mower back to full functioning running order I was amazed at this girls intelligence level.

As we sat down to lunch I asked her a little bit about herself, like where was she from, what was it she did for a living stuff like that.

Um well she replied, im a fighter pilot for the Sailor Star Special Forces and I keep the planet safe from evil forces that invade it with the help of my sisters and friends who usually fly beside me in combat when ever we go into the battlefield, im originally from the moon, I came from a kingdom known as the silver millennium moon kingdom it was where the Sailor Scout Special Forces originated and later became the Sailor Star Special Forces shortly after arriving here on earth to stop the invasion of earth from the nega verse and their evil queen named Beryl she finished.

I see I replied, she filled me in on the whole thing how the evil Queen Beryl and her soldiers went around the globe abducting people for slavery or stealing their life energy all the while looking for seven rainbow heart crystal holders, and if these holders were found and the seven rainbow crystals were to be reunited then the silver imperium crystal would be whole once again and if that crystal were to fall into evil hands it would mean the end of the earth and its solar system as we know it. She also went on to tell me of another battle they had fought with someone by the name of fiore and the one responsible for fiore’s brainwashing to do their bidding, it was a simple flower known as the kisenian blossom, on her own kisenian was just another pretty flower so she needed someone with a vulnerable heart to possess and once she did that the pawn more or less was used to spread her hatred and ill will among the people of a planet causing a pure heart to become a dark heart filled with rage and hatred and her power grew and grew with the hatred that was spread, and once kisenian was finished with a particular star or planet the pawn became dispensable and the planet filled with hatred, then she went on to tell me about the diamond heart snatchers, these were the most feared opponents they had as they came back once again with the help of a 1000 year old demon known as the Shadow Queen who formed herself into the same shape and look of the princess of the mushroom kingdom known as Princess Toadstool or as her friends all knew her as Princess Peach, and thus Shadow Peach was born, she used her evil magical powers to summon forth an alien race known as the Jam in attempt to take over the planet and its people forcing it into darkness and thus a new sauvern of silence was born as well as a poor girl being possessed by this evil queen of darkness known as Princess éclair of the Waffle kingdom somewhere in Sarasaland and the Typhoonian United Nations of the islands of Typhoonia, this girl had truly been through a lot in her life, before she came to earth with the rest of the Sailor Star Special Forces she began her training to be a fighter pilot at the early age of just eight years old legal age to fight in battles and or on the front line where she came from. She then told me of the current war situation they were trying to stop, seems a power hungry woman by the name of Turmoil had gotten her hands on a massive amount of weapons and aircraft designs and was declaring war on the world, thus far her crew was the only ones able to hold up against the evil Turmoil and the newly reborn Queen Beryl, unprepared U.S. Military pilots and pilots from countries all over the world fell quickly before the might of the Turmoilian and Nega Verse air forces.

As I soaked this all this in and tried to make sense of it all there was a knock on the door, my eyes grew wide with fear and concern for my new friends safety and well being, for I never got visitors ever since I moved in to the forest and built this house of mine that was mostly hidden in tress and brush cover, I quickly grabbed my young guest and silenced her as I took her to the back room where I had a secret hidden hiding place I put her in the hiding place and told her to keep put and stay quiet.

But what if its one of my friends or family members looking for me? She asked

I assure you its not, I whispered

Please just stay put and keep quiet and no matter what you hear do not come out ok?

“But” she started to argue, no buts stay here and keep quiet I scolded as I shut the hatch to the secret hidden hiding place beneath the floor, the knocking was more persistent the second time, yes im coming I called out, yes who is it I asked as I opened the door just a little bit to see who it was, suddenly the door busted open and I was seized by two muscular cat women, LET ME GO I screamed
LET GO OF ME RIGHT NOW I continued to scream as they quickly tied me to a chair and gagged me, there leader came in after words and looked over the place with her evil looking smile and eyes, long cigarette holder and cigarette in hand, she turned her eyes to me and walked over towards me, I shook in fear in my binds as I didn’t know what was about to become of me, she reached down and removed my gag and let out a cloud of cigarette smoke into my face I coughed and wheezed at the smell of it.

Where’s the girl? She asked

What? I asked in response
The girl, where’s the girl? She asked more persistently

I have no idea what you’re talking about im the only one who lives here. I replied back

I know that girl is around here some where and I intend to find her! She said as she released my chin from her tight grasp and flicked ashes from her cigarette in my lap

I have no idea who you’re talking about and even if I did I wouldn’t rat who ever you’re looking for out to the likes of you!!! I responded back sharply

The leader of these women then spun around and slapped me across the face.

She nodded her head to one of the women standing behind me and I grew really scared at this point especially when I saw a sharp knife come from her belt, all I could do is cringe and wait but to my surprise she cut me loose.

I looked up at the leader as her soldiers left the house, she turned to me and said “ I think you’re telling me the truth for the time being, however if I find out you’re lying our next visit will not be so pleasant” she then turned and walked out the door I breathed a sigh of relief as I watched out the window to make sure they were leaving, she gave her soldiers an order and they all left and the leader flew away in some kind of hovercraft. once I was sure they were gone I went to the back room and let my young guest out of the hiding place.

Are you all right I heard them get pretty rough with you? She asked

Im fine I replied it takes more than what then a few ropes and a slap to the face to hurt me I was more concerned about you, I dint want to see them get hold of you.
Oh we haven’t even introduced ourselves to each other yet have we? Im Angel, Angel the hedgehog I said as I stuck out my hand

Major Serenity Vivian Usagi Sailor Star Special Forces but you can call me Serena or Serenity she said as she shook my hand I really appreciate you keeping me away from those goons like you did, when I didn’t hear anything for a few minutes I….. there was a pause between her words and a tear drop ran down her cheek, I thought they were going--
I hushed her grabbed her and brought her into my arms and said to her if it would have saved you’re life so you could live I would have gladly sacrificed myself. As we sat there holding each other in the other ones arms the door busted open and to my shock it was the cat woman from earlier, so you were lying to protect you’re dear friend here she said as she snapped her fingers which made several of her female soldiers rush in and grab us, PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW OR SO HELP ME ILL KICK YOUR ASS, I screamed, the cat woman then turned her attention to me and said I would shut up if I were you, the female soldiers then brought Serena over in front of me with the wave of their leaders hand, or do you want you’re dear friends blood all over your beautiful floor? You have two options here my dear, either keep that pretty little mouth of yours shut or you’re dear precious friend here will meet a very gruesome demise, what is it going to be? Are you going to be a good little girl and keep quiet as we leave with you’re friend here or are you going to run you’re mouth some more and you’re dear friend meet her maker? She finished I winced at these words, I knew if I didn’t cooperate they would surely kill Serena and I didn’t want to watch her die ever since she came to stay I’ve become more open with others than I usually was, I was more friendly to people, and I loved Serena so much for giving me her friendship when she knew it was needed, before she came along I wouldn’t have any thing to do with hardly anyone because I used to believe all humans were bad, I had made friends with other animals of the forest of course but never a human, and when I saw Serena lying in the cockpit of that plane hurt as bad as she was, something inside me just snapped, I knew for some reason this girl had a truly pure heart, and I knew the minute I laid eyes on her she wasn’t a threat to anyone and if my instinct had been wrong the condition she was in would have proved challenging for her to try anything any way, ALLRIGHT ENOUGH… I yelled ill stop just please don’t hurt my friend, I love her and don’t want to see her get hurt, please just her go take me instead don’t hurt my friend I begged them as the female soldiers dropped me to the floor on my knees. that’s better the wicked leader responded. The soldiers all left except for one who now had her rifle trained on the back of my head, we will be taking the blonde the leader said, and what of the hedgehog mam?
Leave her be she is of no importance to us their leader responded

Yes turmoil the soldier responded and walked out with the others as they were taking off I sprung to my feet and ran out the door after them tears filled my eyes as I saw them flying away with Serena in hand on the back of a hovercraft, NOOOO SERENITYYYYYYYYYYYY I cried BRING HER BAAAAAACK, SERENITYYYYYY I collapsed on the ground in tears at the site of my friend being abducted by these horrid people I was confused and scared I had no clue as to what to do or who to turn to for help then one of the horrid craft set my house on fire, I was helpless to put out the flames all I could do is watch as all my hard work and memories burned to the ground, my friend Tails was strolling down the path at the time and saw me on the ground crying and my house burning, what happened angel? Are you hurt? He asked I threw myself into his arms and told him everything that had just happened, WHAT SERENA’S BEEN KIDNAPPED OH NO WE GOT TO GET TO MY WORKSHOP AND GO AFTER THOSE JERKS RIGHT AWAY!!!!! He said excitedly I ran with him as he led me along by the hand a little ways down the path to his workshop where he kept a plane called the X-Tornado.

We can go after them in this. He said all right lets go im ready when you are I said as we rolled out of the hangar and took to the sky, we got up to an altitude of about three thousand feet and saw Turmoil and her soldiers who had kidnapped Serena flying just above us, aren’t we going to attack them and free Serena ? I asked no not just yet if we attack now than the whole rescue plan will be compromised replied Tails, for right now were going to follow them ill let you off at their hideout so you can go after Serena and ill keep them busy while you and Serena make you’re escape. He told me, his plan sounded like the best way to save Serena from these horrid people, ok I replied back to him just as we arrived at Turmoil’s massive flying aircraft carrier a group of patrol planes spotted us. Uh oh we got company im going to have to let you off right here don’t worry the seats equipped with a parachute. Said tails, ok I replied as I waited for the seat to eject from the plane, I grabbed hold of the seat as tight as I could and when the seat ejected from the plane I made sure to hold on even tighter, the seat began to slow and drop and as it did the parachute deployed and I guided my self toward the carrier’s deck, Tails led the patrol planes away from me and I continued into the carrier after I landed through an air duct. I crawled through the air duct quietly so as not to alert any of the guards I came to a fork in the air ducting and was just wondering which way to turn when I heard Turmoil’s voice and decided to follow the sound of her voice, finally after what seemed like forever I came to an air vent just above what appeared to be Turmoil’s office, the voice was her all right she was sitting at her desk smoking with her long cigarette holder, I saw Serena bound and gagged to a chair in front of her desk, Turmoil was talking on the phone, after about three minutes of me waiting Turmoil ended her conversation and got up from her desk and walked out of her office I waited for a minute or two to make sure she didn’t come back in then opened the air vent and after I got down to the floor I immediately went and untied Serena. Are you all right did they hurt you!!!? I asked excitedly

Im fine angel, thanks for coming to rescue me. Serena replied I hugged her so tight I thought I cut off her oxygen for a second because she grunted, im sorry did I hurt you? I asked

No im fine. She replied

We haven’t got much time Tails is outside keeping the air force’s busy right now, we have to get out of here as quickly as possible. I said

All right I need to do something first, it will disable this carrier of hers and she wont be able to launch any aircraft for awhile. Said Serena

Ok lead the way I told her as we snuck around the airship we could still hear a lot of gunfire going on outside, the hangar is down this way im sure of it said Serena. What are we going to do? I asked her

Well if we do it right my plan is to steal one of their planes after disabling the hangar doors and then blowing one of the hangar doors open so we can escape and then swooping back around and firing a well placed missile shot on that same hangar door sealing it so they cant launch anymore fighters she told me

Whoa wont there be a lot of security? Especially around the hangars? I asked

At this point there shouldn’t be because of what’s going on outside, every available person is going to be attending to what’s going on out there and not what’s in here, as far as any one around here knows im still back in Turmoil’s office bound and gagged to a chair, so they wont be looking for me just yet and even if they were they don’t know you’re hear and that their looking for two people instead of one, so my plan should work she said as we disabled the power to the hangar doors. We then climbed down to the lower deck where the planes were being kept and climbed into one of them, luckily it was a two seater, all right here we go weapons system is online all of our controls appear to be working, missiles away said Serena as two missiles headed for the door and blew it wide open, in response to the explosion we saw several guards running towards us as we were taking off, a few bullets ricocheted off the plane as we rolled down the hangar deck and out the hangar door and were airborne. This is going to get a little rough so you might want to put on your seat belt said Serena, as I fastened my seat belt it soon became all to clear to me how rough it was going to get when four planes were hot on our tail, Serena rolled hard right to dodge their missiles and then pulled off a maneuver that even scared me, she pulled the airbrakes and pulled back on the stick hard to throw us into a complete stalled vertical down point of attack. The enemy pilots looked up in fear as they saw their opponent not more than fifteen feet above them as they blasted by and Serena brought the plane out of its straight down position and locked onto all four planes and successfully shot down three of them in one attack, the fourth plane decided to play it wise and turned hard right then dived and left the battle front obviously due to the fact of what she just witnessed, I had to admit Serena’s maneuvers through out that whole battle seemed very inhuman to me as well, I was even a little fearful myself, and as these fearful thoughts raced through my head I also thought it’s a good thing that she’s on my and Tails side or we would be in some serious trouble, after helping Tails clean up the rest of the fighters we swung around and hit the hangar door with the last two missiles we had left and sealed it shut, it would take repair crews quite awhile to get all of the hangar doors back to full functioning order again.

So it looks like I owe you yet again for saving my life Angel said Serena

It was no trouble I managed to choke out due to my stomach feeling very upset from all the flying that we did, I just didn’t want to see you hurt or worse by those jerks I told her

I thank you very much for coming to my rescue my friends, you especially Tails, the X-Tornado really did good today said Serena

Awwhhh it was no problem said Tails very modestly
If they would have hurt you or worse if they had done the unthinkable I don’t think I would have been able to control myself over the loss of you as a friend Serena. Said

Same here, I replied

Lets go home! Said Serena I’ve had enough adventuring for one day she said

You said it. Replied tails

As we continued on our journey home Tails and Serena landed at Serena’s base where they were greeted happily by Serena’s friends and family, I started to walk away and head back to what was left of my burned down house when I heard one of Serena’s friends call out to me

HEEYYYYY the voice said, I turned in response and felt a little scared as they approached me, for Serena was the only human contact I’ve had in over three years I wasn’t quite sure of any one else that was in front of me at this time, I flinched as she reached down and took my hand into hers

You must be the brave young girl that helped rescue our princess, she said as she hugged me


I thank you for my daughters life, my name is Serenity Usagi SR., im glad to meet you, you are a very brave young lady to have risked as much as you did just save the life of a friend, and as you’re reward you are welcome here anytime and I wont take no for an answer to you not staying here with us until you’re house rebuilt by our finest technicians. She said

Well I started very shyly, to which Serena’s mother hushed me, then I said to myself ok lets see what these people are like and eventually I came to want to stay here at the Sailor Star Special Forces and went on to become a certified flight instructor for private aircraft, my old house stands completely rebuilt and has all of the modern conviences that any home today would and its all thanks to my new friends here at the S.S.S.F.

So that’s my story of how me and my best friend Serena came to be best friends
